Christopher Andraka
(Composer) is an international design communication analyst and developer. A New Jersey native, Mr. Andraka graduated from the UNCSA in 2001 and at present, is the owner of chris andraka design, whose recent projects include the International Polytechnic Institute of Iraq (IPII), BENTLEY Motors, MOVION and MARIN & NEUMANN. Mr. Andraka’s past clients include execONBOARD, PROTARCO, GAETANO Images, GLEEN, ARC, Get Feedback and Westfield Shopping Centers. Mr. Andraka has continually supported the performing arts by consulting for johannes wieland and collaborating on two award winning films, ‘NO. 4′ and ‘release’, with new media artist, Brea Cali. Christopher Andraka was formerly Project Manager at Creative Realities and Managing Director at Infinity Design and CONCEPT labz, whose projects have included Hollister Co., Abercrombie & Fitch, Fleet Bank, SONY MUSIC, Picatinny Arsenal, NORDSTROM, SAP, TiVo and XL Chelsea.
Jerome Begin
(Composer) has been commissioned by the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, The Juilliard School, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Ballet Philippines, The Sacramento Ballet, The Alabama Ballet, The Richmond Ballet, and many other dance companies throughout the US. His works have been performed in the US, Korea, and Japan. He has accompanied and taught for many dance companies, universities, studios, and festivals throughout the U.S. and internationally. Jerome is a founding member of the Left Hand Path Ensemble, a new music ensemble in New York City consisting of piano, cello, and percussion. Jerome currently resides in New York where he works as a freelance composer and performer. He currently serves as Music Advisor on the faculty of the Juilliard School Dance Division.
Jose Luis Bustamante
(Video) Originally from Mexico, José Luis Bustamante received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Sciences from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. In 1984, José Bustamante joined Sharir Dance Company. In 1997, after thirteen years of dancing and creating works for the company, Mr. Bustamante became artistic Co-Director and the company changed its name to Sharir+Bustamante Danceworks. In 2004 he became artistic director of Sharir+Bustamante Danceworks. In 1993 he received a New Forms Regional Initiative Grant with performance artist Sally Jacques, as well as prestigious Choreographer Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1993, 1994 and 1995. His work has been commissioned by Ballet Austin, Cleveland’s Repertory Project, Florida State University and the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts and Dance Advance in Philadelphia. He is currently the Dance Department Chair at Austin Community College and has recently completed an MFA in Dance from Hollins University/American Dance Festival.
Jonathan Melville Pratt
(Composer) is a composer, producer, performer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist living in Brooklyn and working around the world. Jonathan studied opera and interdisciplinary composition at UNCSA and is a recent Sacatar Fellow returning from two amazing months in Bahia, Brazil studying and collaborating. Jonathan has composed for and collaborated with Larry Keigwin, Camille Brown, Helen Simoneau, Brian Brooks, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Jonah Bokaer, Daniel Charon, VIA Dance, Brian Mertes, John Dillon, Tea Alegic, The Julliard School of Dance, and The Julliard School of Drama.
